“Old inhabitants of south Lima” (acrylics + markers on wood)
I sought to represent the mummies that were found in the southern area of Lima, belonging to the pre-Columbian cultures Ichma and Pachacamac, along with the flora and fauna found in the area, among which “the flower of amancaes” stands out.
Important fact: The largest number of tattooed mummies in the world have been found on the Peruvian coast.
